Description

The Journal of Commerce reports that pirates are attacking ships around the world, especially in the South Atlantic. The Journal of Commerce first became aware of the increasing pirate attacks in the South Atlantic by using the a U.S. Naval Intelligence electronic bullentin board. The JC found that the attacks were not only increasing, but were also becoming better planned. (April 4, June 2, Aug. 15, 22, 24, Sept. 14, 1995 & Jan. 4, 1996)
