Dateline investigated the newest travel scam crossing the country and discovered a world full of tradeoff, tradedowns and "favors" within the travel club industry. Dateline found that these clubs are, simply put a very expensive ripoff. Most people pay $2,000-$10,000 for a membership in these clubs and few ever receive a trip, much less the "trip of their dreams." (March 7, 1995)
