Description

The Bee studied the impact of the state's controversial new law that mandated 25-to-life prison terms for three-time felons. The study found that the law was largely catching the criminal for which it was intended, However, the report also found that the state was doing little to prepare for the pressure the 3-strike felons were putting on the prison system.
