Description

We discovered high rate of cancers in a community surrounding a former city garbage dump that is now a federal superfund site. Interviews with hundreds of residents and a review of more than 5,000 documents show residents have complained about health problems for years, but little if anything was done. Some of the area's largest companies dumped at the site, where toxic ash spewed over the neighborhood for nearly a quarter century.
