Description

The Post-Gazette examined misconduct by federal agents and prosecutors, much of which stems from the changing of laws and regulation brought about because of the war on drugs. While these changes were intended to allow the Justice Department to go after more criminals with a greater chace of getting convictions, the series found that the government is ensnaring many innocent people who are being stripped of jobs, property, reputation and freedom.
