Felix Grucci, as the head of his family is a world famous fireworks firm and as chief executive officer of a town of 350,000 people, and how the between his two jobs had blurred. In one instance the fireworks firm had mined sand from land it obtained from the local county government for a new headquarters after a fatal explosion at its previous site. This investigation looks at how Grucci's power as a government official increased, town officials allowed the company to skirt various town laws and rules, included false information to keep the environmental agency from stepping in.
