Description

An immigrant woman in the Midwest is accused of strangling her six children ages 5 to 11. This 24-year-old woman was accused, and later found guilty of strangling her children with a piece of black cloth, before trying to kill herself. Numerous social workers failed to detect this woman's distress. Advocates argued that if state agencies became more familiar with Hmong culture, the tragedy could have been prevented.
