This article examines the claims made by an anonymous letter that the principal of Normandy High School in North St. Louis County, Alvin Smith, is not suited to have such a position. The letter, which is being investigated, claimed that Smith had abused cocaine in his past and impregnated a high school girl when he was a gym teacher, among other things.
