This four part series chronicles the final few days Battalion 745, an army of Indonesian troops, spent in East Timor. A Monitor investigation reveals that the battalion was instructed to destroy everything and kill everyone as they retreated to West Timor. Among the army's victims was one of the Monitor's reporters, Sander Thoenes.
