Description

This collection of stories centers around the disappearance of Brendan Gonzalez, a 4 year old Plattsmouth, Neb. boy. The articles focus on Brendan's parents, who were the two primary suspects in the case. Another article details the day of Brendan's disappearance, and relationships within his family. Another story documents Brendan's father, including his criminal record and family history of mental illness. On the day of Brendan's disappearance his father fled from police, wrecking his car and fighting with officers. He was arrested for second degree felony assault on an officer, and held on a $50,000 bond. He did not post bond. At his sentencing for willful wreckless driving and obstructing a police officer, he announced he killed Brendan because the boy was the Anti-Christ.
