Description

This investigation discovered the Palo alto Unified School District, in California, had a hole in its wireless computer network that allowed outsiders with wireless capabilities access to many private student records including a psychological profile of a student, students' grades, home addresses and custody information, and full-color photos of some elementary school students with their listed medical conditions. Many of these files could be copied and unauthorized users could upload their own files onto one of the district's servers.
