Reporters from the Buffalo News doing an analysis on the city spending found that official employees were calling in sick two to three times more compared to the national average. Another inspection, this time inside the City Hall looked at court time among police officers. The reporters found that Buffalo spends considerably more on court time. As this article reveals both these issues arise mainly due to the lax policies of the department.
