The handout provides some guidelines for those who cannot afford a sophisticated CAR program. The handout answers some questions about how to do computer-assisted reporting without the necessary resources. Also lists some of the more affordable communications, database, statistics, spreadsheets, mapping and word-processing programs. There is a list of other software programs that are available and can do the same things as the more expensive programs.
