Description

This tipsheet will introduce you to ways to use data as a source to tell stories. It will demonstrate techniques and tools to interrogate data for answers — gathering, cleaning, organizing and analyzing data to find and tell stories.

The three topics we will focus on are: Data Biographies: How to build one and why you should never write a data story without one, Multivariate Exploratory Analysis: How to do this easily in Tableau and why it’s much better than simply looking at two variables and calling it a relationship and Ecological Fallacy: What this really means and how to avoid it in data stories.
