6:30 - 9:30 p.m. | OpenNews: Better election coverage! (a mini-SRCCON get-together)
Join your NICAR friends and other news nerds for food, conversation, and scheming about how we can cover elections better in 2024. We need to start talking and collaborating now if we want to see real changes in the way we cover elections for our communities this year.
We'll have election night pizza (of course), tasty non-alcoholic drinks, and a few short, fun talks.
The venue is a 20-minute walk from the conference hotel. Meet in the hotel lobby at 6 p.m. if you want to walk over with a group or find some folks to split a car.
